STELLA
STELLA
ABOUT
Stella is an actor, dancer, and teaching artist based in Northern Virginia/DC.
She is passionate about integrating her gymnastics background and love for dance/movement into her work in theater. At 16, she began training with DC’s premier physical theater, Synetic Theater, in their Teen Company under the instruction of Irina Tsikurishvili.
Now a member of Synetic’s Mainstage Company, she regularly performs, teaches, and trains in the Synetic style (including mime, acrobatics, dance, clowning, etc.)
Stella also recently graduated from Syracuse University, summa cum laude, with a BFA in Acting.
At Syracuse, she was lucky to have the opportunities to study abroad at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, train at the Tepper Semester in NYC, understudy a show at Syracuse Stage, and assistant direct a mainstage production.
UPCOMING:
This autumn, catch Stella in Synetic Theater’s brand new adaptation of Frankenstein in Arlington, Virginia. More information to come!
Outside of theater, Stella enjoys traveling, concerts, experiencing nature, and practicing mindfulness. As a former military brat, she is happy to be settled (for once!) in the Northern Virginia area.
